Christmas

This was Karson's 1st Christmas so I was really excited about it. I wasn't sure if he would be really excited or if he could careless - Well it was a little of both - My pictures got a little mixed up so bare with me. This picture is great to show you how Karson felt by the end of the day...Here he is with his new bike...he could get pushed for hours and never get tired of it.

This is a picture of our Christmas corner - I decided to do a small tree that was up and out of Karson's reach. The gifts with the big bows were from Santa.

Halloween

I know I know I'm a bit late for Halloween but I've been a bit busy. Karson was a tiger for Halloween. And I would say that he enjoyed Halloween. I got him dressed up and our neighbor's brought their son Craig Thomas over and we took pictures of them together. And then put Karson in the stroller and walked to the square to do some trick or treating there. He really enjoyed looking at everyone in their costumes and even carried his pail around the square. After the square we went over to Aunt Crickle's house to hand out candy.

Step by Step

Karson has been taking little steps here and there since last Saturday. But this evening he got REALLY brave and took a little stroll! He did it multiple times and he was LOVING IT! He was so proud of himself. I think that by Thanksgiving he will be walking all over the place! Luckily I caught him walking on camera. Enjoy the videos!

Cutest Ring Bearer EVER!!!

Kolby's brother got married this past weekend. Kolby was a groomsman and Karson was the ringbearer. The weekend was very busy with us. Friday evening we had the rehearsal dinner.

Saturday we got up early and went to help decorate and then at 2:00 Kolby's Mom and her siblings threw a surprise party for Kolby's Grandpa's 80th BDAY! Here is a picture of 4 Generations!

This is the best picture of Karson being pulled down the aisle. I hope I can get a better one from the photographer. He did SO good we were very proud of him. He just sat there, ate his snacks, and looked super cute!

And on Sunday we went to Kolby's Gramma C's for lunch. Karson got to play with his cousin Whitaker. He is 3 months old. It was the first time that Karson had been around a baby smaller than him.

It was a very busy weekend for us and Karson was dragged one place after another. And as usual he was the best baby. Kolby and I are so lucky to have such a great boy!

He's Walking!!!! (with assistance)

I picked up a new toy for Karson today, and I think that I opened a can of worms!!!! I am not sure if I should be speeding along the process of him walking or not. At first he didn't seem that interested in pushing it he just wanted to play with it and then I stood him up and helped him walk and the rest is history! He gets mad when he hits the wall and can't go any further. And when he gets off the rug on the hard floor he practically runs with it!

Karson's New Favorite Food

Karson has been trying a lot of new foods lately. He has had chicken, spaghetti, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy, but his favorite so far is Chicken Noodle Soup. He absolutely loves it. I can't feed it to him fast enough. Here is a picture of him gobbling up. He's such a camera hound, even though he was really enjoying his dinner he made time for the camera.

He even has saltine crackers with his soup!

And then when all the noodles are gone he drinks the broth right of the bowl...It's just way too cute!!

Another new thing he is doing is sharing his crackers with our dog Willie. I haven't captured it on video yet but I am trying. Willie will eat the cracker out of Karson's hand and Karson will just laugh and laugh. They are going to be great buddies!

Scooting Along

Here is Karson's new way of transportation. He is a pro at pulling himself up now...and he has daily wipeouts! He has a fascination with the air fresheners (as you can see in the video). These days Karson can pretty much get anywhere he wants to. He is very brave and it scares me to death!! He is constantly letting go and trying to stand and walk by himself.
